In April the South West Churches Forum held a day to bring together food banks and projects from around the region to look at how churches are responding to the current crisis of food poverty. You can keep up to date on activities in the region on the website.
On Tuesday 22nd October we will be holding an afternoon to resource church leaders and all those with a concern for issues of poverty in our communities. The growth in food banks in our churches is an expression of compassion but we need to ask how questions of justice and policy can be addressed.
